We hope this holiday season finds you well.
Today is Giving Tuesday, an international day dedicated to charitable giving. We’re sure this is not the first (or last) Giving Tuesday email you will receive today, so we appreciate you taking the time to read ours.
Today, or any time this holiday season, we hope you will consider a gift of any amount to Communication 4 ALL (C4A). Our goal is to raise $100,000 to continue our work to ensure all 30+ million nonspeakers worldwide have access to meaningful and effective communication, which enables education and full participation in society.

An anonymous donor has pledged to double every C4A donation up to $50,000 between now and the end of the year!
This means your gift will go twice as far in helping C4A:
- Make more free C4A Academy videos
- Purchase and mail stencils around the world
- Expand Regulation 4 ALL resources
- Train teachers to teach typing in schools
- Advocate for the Communication Bill of Rights

Why should I give to Communication 4 ALL?
Here are some of our accomplishments from the past year that your gift to C4A would advance the progress of.
Communication 4 ALL launched C4A Academy, our free resource to teach nonspeakers to type to communicate, in December 2023. In fact, December 1st was C4A Academy’s second birthday!
Since its creation, C4A Academy has:
- Produced 22 Instructional videos
- Released 25 Case Study videos
- Generated 33,637 video views across 25 countries
- Gathered 1,326 Facebook group members
- Mailed 600+ stencil sets around the world
- Published 47 Lessons in English and Spanish
- Impacted an estimated 5,950 nonspeakers!
Communication 4 ALL completed a Regulation 4 ALL study with 25 nonspeakers measuring their Heart Rate Variability and Facial Motor Movements 3 times per week for 3 months, creating a huge database for analysis for Dr. Elizabeth Torres, the founder of the Sensory-Motor Integration Lab at Rutgers University. We look forward to publishing the study in 2026 and are on our way to creating a Regulation 4 ALL app!
Communication 4 ALL launched its first C4A Schools training program with schools in Georgia, California and Kolkata, India. We are grateful to our partner, Mouth to Hand Learning Center, for leading this important initiative.
Communication 4 ALL is a leader in securing legislative wins for nonspeakers. Elizabeth had more than 40 meetings on Capitol Hill with C4A board member Caden Larson advocating for Communication to be added to the Autism CARES Act and it passed with bipartisan support. Elizabeth worked with allies to unanimously pass the Communication Bill of Rights in the New York State Assembly. We are a small group of volunteers, so your donations go directly to creating more free videos, sending stencil sets, and our legislative initiatives.

Supplies to support you
Communication 4 ALL is grateful for donations of any amount. It all adds up to support the mission.
If you need stencils to begin your typing journey with C4A Academy, we’d be happy to mail you a set of our cardboard stencils in exchange for a donation of what you can give. Please be mindful that we are a small nonprofit, and sending a stencil set within the US costs us more than $25 and it costs more than $50 internationally. Please give as generously as you are able so we may send stencils to all who request them. We can mail stencils internationally.
We also have books, CDs, and T-shirts available at a few giving levels. All would make thoughtful holiday gifts for the nonspeakers and allies in your life.
